Wow. What an awesome surprise this book was. I read some reviews that were not that flattering. I'm glad I did my own discovering.
Max and Jade were a strong couple. There were a couple of cringe worthy moments when Max threw is cut on the floor. That's total disrespect for the club. I think if the author went back and fixed that it would totally be a 5 star read.

5 stars, fast paced ,a definite page turner! This book is about Ryden,a very sexy Brion. A Brion is an intergalactic species, which are human looking, and are big brawny warriors . Ryden becomes commander and is asked by the council to defend Ilotra base on the moon, whos purpose is to try keeping all the other planets in the universe intact. The clayors, a nasty bunch, want to destroy it. Aria a beautiful human woman whose an ambassador in training, is chosen to meet Rydon and tell him what's going on , that they need him to defend their base.When they meet she is attracted instantly, and he is to her.
They go through the paces of defenses, but the clayors are tough because they are of a hive mind, meaning thousands of them are controlled by one main mind. The more Ryden is with Aria the more he wants her.
She spurns his advances at first, but then relents leading into very hot n heavy sex . He's very well endowed to say the least!
She gets kidnapped and Ryden loses it.
Now he's gotta fight to get her back, and with all the clayors the task may fail, and he will lose her, and the base forever. This book definitely had amazing descriptions of the species, you could picture it perfectly in your mind. Not to mention hot sizzling sex, non stop action, and tons of battling a must read for sci-fi romance Lovers! Recieved arc in return of an honest review. A heap of suprises!

Crash, aka Andrew, big bad boy, ex marine, now mma champ in brazil, gets what he wants after every win, bottle of liquor and a woman or two, meets Harper, just finished med school, top of her class, who takes a much needed vaca before her residency begins in brazil. Crash meets her at a bar and wants her. She eventually gives into his advances and they have a hot n heavy romp at the beach that night.

He wakes up on beach next morning and she's gone. He goes back to hotel and her n her friends left. He cant get her off his mind, he's smitten with her, but afraid he'll never find her again. He gets notice his mom passed away n goes back to america, cleans out his moms house n finds an old letter she never sent, it was to the father he never knew, which really thickens things. So many surprises unfolding in this book!! Its a multicultural stepbrother romance, Crash is white , Harper is dark skinned. This was an overall hot, and romantic story with a beautiful HEA !! Definitely hot ! I'd say the heat level is on fire! The overall book I enjoyed, had a good storyline, and the plot of was well done. This is the second book of the bad boy next door series, but you don't need to read book 1 , as each are different. I love erotica , and bad boys so if this is your kind of thing you'll love it as well! You may need to cool down afterwards!
