The first word I can come up with is mind f**k. My head was swiveling and I loved every Dark minute of it! The second word is Dark if you love the darker reads you'll gobble this up. The third word would be Erotic it had some pretty intense Erotic moments throughout the book. Would I recommend it ? Hell yeah I couldn't put it down myself mature adults only if course. I absolutely loved Unmasked and would be one of those books I'll never forget. Look out Authors you have some serious competition with Shannon Youngblood 5 star rating

Wake will have you feeling guilty , needy, tensed up , ashamed , and needing more! How do I even begin to summarize Wake?
I felt like Anna in a strange sense, should I be reading this? Knowing whats going on? Maybe liking Sam in an odd sense even throughout his messed up torture? Because when he does those other things , how can you not? You can't help but feel naughty as you continue reading as it only gets worse, and Holy HeII!! I've never read such creativity from Any author! The birdcage, for his little bird , an such Mind Blowing Brilliant Ideas for such a deranged Man like Samael the light bringer the commander of death. Anna, the innocent one, now considered pure filth, vermin. The man she left behind, is now scarred , hated, full of wrath. She had never lost hope. But now maybe the time, as those 6 years long gone , are going to be made up for, all at once.
This book is Dark, if you can't help being held against your will, forced sex etc then this isn't for you, but if you like to journey into unknown territories, and drift into darkness, this will submerge you head first .
There were very few typos but I was so absorbed, truly they didn't bother me, and there wasn't enough to make any difference.
The ending , was another hair puller!! Please tell me there will be a part 2 coming? Because that just drove me beyond mad!

He wasn't quite sure why kitchen work made such a difference. Maybe it didn't, and Shula was just very good with her hands.

He didn't know why he enjoyed watching it.

She gasped as the knife slipped from her grasp and she nicked the tip of her fingertip holding down an onion. He was at her side grasping her hand with muttered apologies. He had meant to shock her with his new found knowledge, but he hadn't meant to hurt her. She pressed her lips together, because she didn't want to complain.

She gasped again when he pressed her finger in his mouth. “I won't tell anyone,” he whispered.

“How did you find out?” She was afraid she might cry. She hated being named for a harem girl. She liked to believe that her mother did it to make a point.

“I didn't really. Your name. Shula. I've never heard it. I looked through some genealogy information online and no one on either your mother or your father's side shared that name. But, everyone had sacred names. First and middle. I saw a smudge by yours.”

“Father. He was ashamed. He tried to change it. But, it was too long–”

“Shh. Not now. Later.” His hands moved to both hips. He gripped tightly, and lifted her easily onto the counter. She sucked in a breath and held onto him tightly. The light in the room was waning, but it was the brightest light he'd ever been so close to her in.

He loved it when she was supplicant under him, trying to hide, trying not to spread her legs wider. He loved that by the end, she's panting in his mouth, with her hands gripping his shoulders tightly. She was his completely, and he never had to ask. She just gave.

He found himself wanting her to want him. Was it fair for him to ask for that when she hadn't a choice previously? He frowned and stepped back a few inches.

She dropped her hands from his shoulders. “Have I done something to...displease you?”

He opened his mouth, then closed it. It took a few moments to speak. “You are my wife.”

She nodded, unsure of his point.

“We didn't get to choose, but I was happy at the wedding, unexpected though it was.” He stepped in close to her again, and her legs spread for him. He pressed both fists on either side of her hips. “You were my punishment, and I think it's the grandest cosmic joke ever.”

Makayla had been positive Armand was going to kiss her. Instead he'd set her aside and almost seemed angry that she had trusted him. Their ride back to the mainland had been quiet and almost tense. What had caused the sudden change? The kiss on the cheek? Everything had certainly gone to hell after that, but she could have sworn he wanted her.

She brushed the hair from her face. What did she know about men anyway? It had been two years since her last relationship and it had failed. She had failed. The entire idea was a mistake and she should just chalk it up to a lesson learned and move on. Tears stung her eyes. She thought she saw something good and decent in Armand. Even if only for a one-night stand, she thought he would have catered to her every need, giving her something her past relationships always lacked. Maybe she should just hire the deed done. Women did it all the time now and why not? Their sexual urges were the same as a man's, only the rules were different.

Half an hour later, they were back at the dock and Armand helped her off the boat.

“I'll escort you home.”

Really? She pursed her lips. “I'm sure you have lots to do. I can see myself home. Thank you again for a nice day.” She spun and started to walk away, but he was on her heels.

“I wasn't asking.” He moved in beside her.

Kayla kept her gaze ahead. She could feel the heat rising up her neck. “Suit yourself.” If he wanted to walk with her then fine, but she refused to converse with him. The mixed signals he kept sending were making her dizzy. He went from seductive to demanding to angry with god-knows-what. The confusion running through her brain gave her a headache.

Ten silent minutes later, she finally reached her front door. She slipped the key into the lock and turned the handle. “What the hell just happened?”

Her legs were like Jell-O and her heart raced. She hadn't expected him to kiss her. Not after the way things had ended. Even in her surprise, her body couldn't help but respond. The Second installment starts where Into The Darkness leaves off, with Karolyn , the Shade , Lightening, and her looking for more clues. Getting invited to the mayor's autumn ball she needs to act like a dim witted reporting blogger asking questions that really don't matter. She notices someone there she believes she recognized, but could it be? Of course Lightening is at her side trying to keep the mayor off her trail by having a heated moment while shes trying to dig. It doesn't end there tho ..Later the lightening the first superhuman to mark her or half mark her shows at her home,and she gives in to his cravings and her own as well. Afterwards feeling safe lightening can't seem to handle the magic of his own mark , and busts out hurting Kathryn at the same time. The Shade the dark vigilante feels her emotions, and comes to her , giving her what she needs as well, trying to prove himself, but the things she uncovers makes her wonder whose side is he really on? Who can be trusted? Just when she thinks nothing can get any worse,, the Bright shows up, the dangerous and some would say the mayor's closest supe..Will Kathryn actually come out of this alive? Or was getting marked by two enemies cause more harm then any could imagine? Must read series! This is the second part and it's more thrilling, exciting, sexually arousing the deeper the darkness takes us! Nora Ash has done a brilliant job at keeping this series captivating! THIS BOOK DESERVES 5++++ and is on my favorites list!!Intrigue, corruption, secrets, vigilantes, superheroes is just a start of Into The Darkness! The book kept me up all night needing to finish, afraid I would miss anything. Nora Ash is a brilliant author for coming up with this kind of a story line! So fresh, inviting, with the perfect amount of twists, and developments in the plot! Kathryn is a wannabe reporter, she's a blogger but takes her job very serious even if others don't. One night as she's getting her coffee she ends up in the middle of a robbery, but this corrupt town has supes aka superheroes,and one saves her life .Lightening a super hot hero that she had always adored until she saw he was an egotistical jerk as she interviewed him. She decides to get him back by making a blog about him and his kind. Although she has no idea the repercussions this small time blog may cause..the attention lands on her, Lightening comes to her explaining the dangers, even giving her a small ounce of protection. With his breath against her neck she desires so much more . He's in her mind , but she wishes he would take her completely! Kathryn can't shake all this and needs answers wondering what corruption she getting to close to , the mayor, the supes , and decides to go into the darkness, the dirt riddled filth of the industrial area. She's chased by thugs , knowing she's not going to make it out alive , but then she hears body parts torn apart, afraid to look...but she does, and finds out the most meanest, darkest, evil, vigilante is right in front of her!! Lightenings enemy the Shade...Will the Shade kill her like he does everyone else or will something else happen? Oh how I wish I could tell you but you'll have to read this yourself!! It's definitely worth it and the heat will have you wanting more!! Highly recommended by Alpha Loving Erotic Book Beauty Blogger this book was given to me in exchange for an honest and fair review .
