This book really kept me engaged, I just had to know what was going to happen next! This is completely different from the usual stepbrother romance, it had a lot of edge , and action. The plot was fantastic, I have nothing bad to say about Uncaged except I wish there was a part 2 of Pierce an Penelopes story. I'd love to know what will happen to them, will she get her own shop? Will there secret ever come out? Will they admit how much they mean to one another? Pierce is a underground cage fighter, illegal of course, but the money is too good , and he's a hell of a fighter. Penelope has her dreams of going to Australia, she loves tattooing, it's her addiction. She has always wanted to be an apprentice for her Idol. She hates leaving her dad but she knows this is her only shot,besides her dad has a gf now. Before leaving her dad tells her that his gf has a son that happens to live in Melbourne. He shows her his photo, an immediately realizes he's a hottie! When she gets to Australia she meets up with an old school mate whom she's staying with .She decides to take her to the underground fight so she can meet her almost Step brother Pierce. Plus her friend, an her bf are big fans an wanna meet him too.. Penelope has his attention as soon as he makes his way to the cage, not knowing who she is, he blows her a kiss. There's just something about her, he gotta have her. Penelope is bored by the fight it's just not her thing , but does like his body. They end up meeting being introduced as his mother's boyfriends daughter. He realizes how interesting this really is. He doesn't care he still wants her, an badly. They go out to his club , which doesn't go as planned, then he ends up the next day going to the tattoo shop she's working in ! She can't stand the way he acts , smug, all self confident , and she's not afraid to put him in his place which I love about her! She's not weak by far. As the book progresses, a deadly mixture hits them both head on , by the mob. They love there fights. And they will use anything to force Pierce to fight. If he loses, that's the end for everyone they love. But how to get out of it in all one piece, plus protect everyone? Another huge twist happens at the same time, Pierces mom an Penelopes dad are tying the knot. After some hot scorching scenes, now what do you do? No matter what you choose, will it be the best for them? Or will it crush everything there emotions had craved ? Must read to get this hot action packed hurricane whirlwind experience !! It was different then the other types of this genre I've read an I fell in love!
