Liv Brywood always has such fascinating ideas for her books, which is one of the many things I love about reading her stories. I'm usually not into the mushy Christmas type books, but I knew with Mz Brywood writing it would be hot, sexy, and wild! Rachel has not seen her ex for about 4 years ever since he joined the military to follow in his families footsteps of serving his country, as he told his love Rachel he would be gone it devastated her. She wanted to tell him she was pregnant with his child, but hearing this had her so mad she just couldn't. Parting ways, Bryce tried keeping in touch even after that awful night, never hearing anything back. Four years later Rachel is dealing with the fact she may not have much time with her son. He has lukiemia , and without the bear shifter dad to give a transplant he will die. As what any mother would do she decides to go to the ranch to find out if Bryce is even back. He has seen things that made him swear he will never bring a child into this world. He has had much trauma over in Afghanistan.As she pulls up to the ranch ,the crunch of the snow, there eyes lock, seeing each other was a major shock that didn't go well which after not talking for so long she knew it wouldn't be easy, an she leaves again without telling him the truth. Not long after she leaves they both end up at the same bar with Bryce downing too many beers. With her car not starting From the cold temps he agrees to let her drive his new truck to a hotel she's staying at for the night, an he agreed to walk back to the bar , an get a lift or eat until he could drive, but once they are alone old flames ignite, and heat burns there bodies for one another! Making sure she gets in her room safe, is just too late. Rachel doesn't stop him from coming in, an there hot night of passion, filled with memories flood in with the most fulfilling love making with this muscular bear shifter. She knows she has to tell him her huge secret to save there boys life, but can he forgive her for never telling him? Can they fix things in order for there child to be well again? Must read to find out! Highly recommended hot bear shifter book
